Share Your Website on Fuji X Weekly

Fujifilm X100F

What’s your website?

I thought it would be a fun idea to give you an opportunity to share your website with me and the Fuji X Weekly community. I know that many of you have a website. It would be great if you posted it, so that I or anyone else reading this could visit it. Even if it’s not photography related, please feel free to share your website. Simply, leave your website address in the comments section. Give your name, web address, and maybe a brief description of your website.

We’re all on this road together. The photography community has been incredibly helpful to me over the years, and I’m glad to be a part of this continuum. If we are all kind and helpful to each other, we’ll all be better photographers for it. I’m hoping that this post will benefit some of you, and maybe you’ll discover some good resource or inspiration. Perhaps you’ll find a website a two to follow, in addition to the others that you already follow (and don’t forget to follow Fuji X Weekly if you are not doing so already).

I look forward to seeing your website in the comments section. I encourage you to check back on this post after a few days and click the different websites that are shared in the comments, and see what others are up to.

This should be a fun!

  6. Photo A Day · September 26, 2019

My website is finally starting to be what I want it to me. It had started out as a photo a day site. But that was tough and I missed a few days. So now a do a weekly round up. I also do some topical posts each week. I use a Fuji x100f (shooting 100% jpeg), a canon ae-1 program and a rollei 35 s. I really love the film.

I don’t write much. Short intros to that entries photos.

Love to have some visitors and comments: https://photoeverydaylife.com/

Indeed, thanks for sharing. I’m going to follow your blog closely.

Great idea Ritchie. This will make it easier for me to look at sites of like minded photographers.

    Mine site is: https://findtherightlight.blog/

I feel I already know and follow half of the blogs here, but it’s a great idea nonetheless 🙂

Here’s my modest contribution. I started my blog a few months ago with the main motivation to find a better way to share my passion for photography with like minded people. When I say better, I mean better than IG or Flickr basically. So far, I’m quite happy with the result.

You can find my photos here: https://bguizol.photo.blog

My blog can be found here:
    https://fujigraphy.home.blog/author/veijom/

I’ve shared there my Fuji in-camera film simulation settings and my own made Capture One -styles. And part of the goal of the blog maybe is to share some thoughts of photographing with a Fuji camera and lenses, though tweaking with the styles have taken most of my “spare” time so far.

I bought the Fujifilm version of Capture One and my main goal was to make styles with the bought version that Works with the free Express -version. And I thought other Fuji users might like to get free styles to experiment with their free Express version. My styles are free to use and tweak for everyones own tastes. I also gladly take suggestions (challenges) for certain looks needed, but admit I am just learning the capabilities of Capture One and color science itself.

I like Your efforts making available the in-camera settings that look gorgeous and show how many varieties You can get SOOC. I partly use in-camera settings (mostly process the photos afterward with X RAW Studio) and Capture One for the looks that so far have not been able to get in-camera. I don’t tweak pics in Capture One much, as I mostly use my preset styles and try to tweak the presets to be such that they can be applied to my images without any further tweaking.

        Saludos
        Leo

  13. Alexander · September 26, 2019

I deleted my site here long ago, I deleted pics from my Flickr and Instagram accounts. I have nothing to say with words and my photography is boring so I kinda gave up.
Now I have a channel in Telegram messenger for 4 people who take a look at my pictures.

    • Ritchie Roesch · September 26, 2019

I would encourage you to not give up. Keep doing what you love, and don’t be afraid to share what you are doing with other like-minded people. Take care!

    • Khürt Williams · September 26, 2019

Why do you take photos? The ones you share with those 4 people via telegram, why do you do it? What caused you to push the shutter button? I think if you write that with each photo, you’ll have a reason to photo blog.

If you do come to Malaysia, lets shoot together, I enjoyed SP very much as well. and we are neighbors. Penang, and KL will be good.

      • Ritchie Roesch · September 28, 2019

You know, I would absolutely love to. I don’t know if a trip to southeast Asia will happen, but if it does, we should definitely meet up. Thank you for the offer!

      • chan.kit.sg · September 30, 2019

u should definitely come over to SEA and after your visit come up with a new simulation 🙂

      • chan.kit.sg · September 29, 2019

Sure, that’s a good idea. Which part of Malaysia do you live in?

      • tattwah · September 30, 2019

Kuala Lumpur (or around) or Penang (my home town) will do. Georgetwon is a beautiful place for street photography.

  21. tattwah · September 28, 2019

It would be awesome if we can have something like a flikr group where we can share our photos here. Or a chatroom. @Ritchie Roesch

    • Ritchie Roesch · September 28, 2019

I’ve thought about this a lot. I’ve looked at some different options. I’m on the fence of what exactly I want to do, as there are pros and cons to the different choices. I hope to have something set up in the coming months, maybe sooner. Thank you for the suggestion!

Late to the game! Happy to share. I’m a full-time web developer that loves photography on the side, and a few years back had that love re-blossomed when I was led to Fuji X. I shoot on an X-T20 and set up just a simple photoblog for myself. Also, greetings from a few miles south of ya! (Orem)
