The Fuji X Weekly app is free! No annoying ads. Get access to 100+ film simulation recipes, which can be sorted alphabetically or chronologically. Yes, after Google approves the update (maybe Friday or Monday, I’m guessing), then it will be Android 9 compatible.

It was a roller coaster of emotions. A friend sent me the news. I rushed to to the Play Store. My device is not supported.

There might be some hope if you have Android 9. There’s the possibility of making it compatible, but some tests have to be done to make sure it will work.
My cellphone will be stuck in Android 9 but seeing how disposable are cellphones I know soon will have a modern one. I am quite grateful for your work to have it in a platform that is complicated due to devices with so many different hardware!
I appreciate it! There might be hope for Android 9, there’s apparently the possibility of making it compatible, but some testing will have to be done to make sure it works and doesn’t mess everything else up.

Noticed that some recipes differ somewhat from what’s on the website (the optional toning from T-Max 400, for instance); it can be a bit confusing to navigate different simulations with the same name too. And it’d be cool to get the blurb/explanation of each recipe within the app.
But other than that, such a cool thing and happy to support it by becoming a Patron straight away!
The reason why there’s several recipes with the same name is because they’re for different camera models. There’s also a link to my website for each recipe where you’ll find more explanations and more sample pictures. I appreciate the feedback and support! Thank you!

It needs to be at least Android 10, but hopefully by next week at the latest it will be Android 9 compatible. Unfortunately Android 7 isn’t and won’t be compatible. Can your tablet update to Android 9?

I believe you can update to Android 10, and then you can get the app. Otherwise, wait one week and the app will be compatible with Android 9.

I believe that the Galaxy S8 is capable of updating to Android 10. If you update the software, you should be able to download the app. Otherwise, wait one week and the app will be compatible with Android 9 and should work on your phone.

The Galaxy S8 should be compatible after updating the operating software to Android 10. Otherwise, if you wait one week, the app will be compatible with Android 9.
I have the Galaxy S8+, is amazing there are others with that excellent cellphone. Nevertheless when I got it I investigated and the S8 and S8+ will not have Android 10 as Samsung software upgrades are limited to two after the original Android (in this case it started with Android 7). It has to be quite expensive for Samsung to update cellphones with all their catalogue so I understand it, also you being one individual I perfectly understand it too. Then again thanks for your work, is already monumental : )
The update that will allow it to work on Android 9 has been built, tested and submitted to Google, just waiting on Google to give it the go-ahead, but they’re slow, unfortunately.
Wow, I’m installing new apps frequently and this is first time ever I’ve run into one that won’t run on Android 9. Quite a surprise for this type of app!
It requires Android 10, but an update that should be coming either late this week or early next (it’s waiting Google’s approval) will allow it to work on Android 9.
