Recently stumbled across your site and I love that you have film simulations for such a wide range. As someone who is new to Fuji mirrorless (just purchased an XT4 and 16-55 2.8) what simulation would you say works best in terms of food photography? Keep up the awesome work you have put in. Not sure about others but this site is like a goldmine to me.
I’m glad that you found the website! A lot depends on the lighting and exact look you are after. Maybe one of the Superia recipes or Kodachrome 64 is what comes to my mind. I hope this is helpful!
Hello! I have a question: I normally shoot with my X cameras (and GFX) in RAW+JPEG and I wanted to know if you have presets with the setting of the recipes or if you know a way to use these into creating presets in LR. That way I can have the dynamic range and flexibility of a RAW file but can then turn my images into film stock 🙂 that’d be amazing.

I don’t have any Lightroom presets. I looked into creating them (partnering with a top photo-software guru) but there are a lot of complications, and it just didn’t work out. Lightroom will apply some of the JPEG settings to the RAW, but not all, so you have to fill in the gaps yourself, unfortunately. I appreciate your kind words!
Recently found your website & haven’t been able to stay off it! Learning a lot about my recent purchase X-T4. Just a question, can you get the ‘film grain’ effect on movie mode? I love your film simulation recipe ‘Bright Kodak’ but can’t seem to get the same grain effect on movie mode! Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Hi! Unfortunately, some settings aren’t available in video mode, and Grain is one of them—I wish it was! Thanks for your kindness!
