Fujifilm X100F Now Only $900!

The Fujifilm X100F has been discounted at Amazon, and right now you can buy it brand-new for only $900! Wow, merry Christmas! It only applies to the silver model, and only at Amazon. I have no idea how long this sale will last. Click here to buy!

The X100F is one of the best-looking cameras ever made in my opinion, and it’s easy to fall in love with the camera. It’s incredibly fun to shoot with. It’s the epitome of what’s great about Fujifilm! If I were stranded on a desert island and could have only one camera, the X100F would be it.

I hope everyone is having a great holiday! And if you don’t find an X100F under your tree in the morning, you know where to find it for a fantastic deal.

Awesome Fujifilm X Deals!

Fujifilm X-Pro2 Blog

There are some really great deals on certain Fujifilm cameras right now. These aren’t necessarily “Black Friday” deals, but they are certainly great for holiday shopping or if you’ve been eyeing one of these for awhile. I want to bring special attention to the Graphite X-Pro2 with the Fujinon 23mm f/2 lens, which has been deeply discounted, and you’re not likely going to find it for cheaper. Need a second camera body? The X-T20 and X-E3 are dirt cheap right now. The X-T100 is at a rock-bottom price. It’s what I would gift to a family member who has been asking for a camera. Heck, for the price, I might pick one up for myself!

Crazy Fujifilm X-H1 Bundle Deals!

Fujifilm X-H1

At B&H there are some crazy Fujifilm X-H1 deals right now that I just have to share with you. The Fujifilm X-H1 with the battery grip is already an exception bargain at just $1,000, but you can add one or more lenses for a huge discount! You can bundle with the camera a Fujinon 16-55mm f/2.8, which is normally $1,200, for only an additional $200 over the cost of the camera ($1,000 off!). Or the Fujinon 18-135mm, which is normally $900, for only an additional $200 ($700 off!). Or the Fujinon 90mm f/2, which is normally $950, for only an additional $150 ($800 off!). Or the Fujinon 8-16mm f/2.8, which is normally $2,000, for only an additional $800 ($1,200 off!). Whoa!

To do this, click here, which will take you to the Fujifilm X-H1 body-only with battery grip page at B&H. Scroll down just a little to where it says “Build Bundle” and click on that. You will see all the different options to choose from.

There’s another bundle deal at B&H that’s worth pointing out. This one isn’t quite as amazing, but pretty good nonetheless. You can bundle with the Fujifilm X-T3 one (or more) of three $1,000 lenses for only $400 more than the cost of the camera ($600 off!). The lens choices are the Fujinon 16mm f/1.4, the Fujinon 56mm f/1.2 or the Fujinon 10-24mm f/4.

New Fujifilm Deals

Fujifilm X-Pro2

Fujifilm just rolled out some new sales, and I thought I’d pass this along to you, in case you are in the market for one of these items. I don’t know if any of these are blockbuster deals, but there are some worth pointing out nonetheless. I hope that whatever you are looking for are among these items.

For cameras, the best deals are on the X-T20 and X-H1. I wanted to point out that the X-H1 bundled with a lens is an especially good bargain. The camera is already a great value at $1,000, but you can bundle it with a lens for an even better deal! The X100F is on sale, which doesn’t happen frequently. If you just need a cheap second body (or perhaps a Christmas or birthday gift for someone), the X-T100 is very inexpensive and worth taking a look at.

For lenses, there are a few good deals, which you can see below. The Fujinon 90mm f/2.8, which I recently reviewed, is on sale, too, but I didn’t include it in this list because it is “only” $100 off. I’m just showing you the best deals. You can find the prices of everything on my Fujifilm Gear page, as there are other cameras and lenses on sale besides what’s found below.

Featured Gear: Fujifilm X-Pro2

Fujifilm X-Pro2

Fujifilm X-Pro2

Fujifilm recently confirmed that the X-Pro3 is forthcoming and will include some new features. The X-Pro3 will have an unusual backwards-mounted rear screen, a small second rear screen that displays exposure and film simulation information, no four-way D-Pad, plus a brand new film simulation and some new JPEG options like clarity and curve adjustments. The screen setup has created a lot of buzz, and it seems that people either love or hate the redesign. The X-Pro3 might be the most controversial update by Fujifilm ever, and it hasn’t even been officially announced yet.

The X-Pro line is Fujifilm’s second most beautifully designed camera, only marginally behind the X100 series. Fuji knows how to produce appealing cameras, and X-Pro cameras look great! They resemble 1960’s-era 35mm rangefinders, and can even operate like one. It has a really cool hybrid viewfinder, that can work optically, digitally or both. The X-Pro design produces an experience that’s different from other digital cameras.

The X-Pro2 was released in March of 2016. Despite being three-and-a-half years old now, the X-Pro2 doesn’t often get discounted. It’s a popular camera that’s almost in the collectible or cult-like realm of Leica. It’s one of those cameras that I think most people would love to own just for the joy of it. Is the X-T3 a better camera? Absolutely. Is the X-T3 more fun or better looking? Absolutely not. Enjoyable and superior-styling are how I would describe the X-Pro line. People will often ask you about the camera in your hand when you shoot with an X-Pro. There’s pride in owning one. I know this from first-hand experience. And the joy of the shooting experience is what this camera is about.

Twisted Tree – Keystone, SD – Fujifilm X-Pro2

While the X-Pro3 is around the corner, and will be available to buy before the end of the year, there are reasons to get yourself an X-Pro2 instead. First, the X-Pro2 is available for purchase today, and you don’t have to wait. Plus, it’s currently discounted, since the new camera was conformed by Fujifilm. The upcoming version has the unusual rear screen, which you might not like and maybe think is odd, and it also doesn’t have a D-Pad, which the X-Pro2 does have. You might find the backside of the X-Pro2 a better fit for you than the X-Pro3. Aside from all of that, the X-Trans IV sensor and processor inside the new version isn’t a huge upgrade over the X-Trans III sensor and processor inside the X-Pro2. The biggest benefit to X-Trans IV is heat (the new sensor runs cooler), which allows the camera to operate faster. Your style of photography might not require blazing fast auto-focus. There’s not much of a difference in image quality between X-Trans III and IV. The X-Pro3, aside from some design changes and a few JPEG features, isn’t much different than the X-Pro2, and they’re probably about 90-95% the same exact camera.

Below are the current prices (as of this writing) on the Fujifilm X-Pro2, whether for just the camera body or bundled with a lens. The graphite version with the 23mm lens looks especially appealing, and has the largest discount. You will find affiliate links to buy the camera at both B&H and Amazon. If you do, I will get a small kickback for referring you. Budget Fujifilm Kit Recommendation

42330872624_742f0c90ce_c

Back in June I wrote a post explaining how one could buy an elaborate kit, complete with multiple bodies and lenses, for $3,000 or less, the exact price depending on the body and lens combinations. The deals that made it possible have since expired, so I thought I would suggest a budget kit based on what’s on sale now. This one won’t be as grand as the previous, but if you are trying to assemble an “ultimate kit” on a low-budget, this might help you achieve that.

The first thing that I’d start with is a Fujifilm X-T20 bundled with the excellent 18-55mm f/2.8-4 lens, which will set you back $1,000. This is a great mid-level body to build the rest of the kit around, and bundling the lens saves some cash. For a second camera body, I would buy an X-E3, which right now is $600. This would give you two quality camera bodies and a good zoom, and you would have spent only $1,600. Assuming that we’re staying within the same $3,000 budget, you now have $1,400 to spend on lenses.

If you visit my Fujifilm Gear page, you can see the different lens options and what they’re currently going for on Amazon. There’s a lot of potential combinations that would fit within the budget, and what would work best for you will depend on your photography needs. That being said, I will lay out a few ideas for how to spend that $1,400. You could buy the 10-24mm f/4 or the 16mm f/1.4 or the 56mm f/1.2 for $1,000, and the 35mm f/2 or the 50mm-230mm f/4.5-6.7 for $400. You could buy the 14mm f/2.8 or the 23mm f/1.4 or the 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 for $900, and the 23mm f/2 or the 27mm f/2.8 or the 50mm f/2 for $450. Or, if you want the most lenses, maybe choose your favorite three from the $400-$450 options listed above. I really like the 90mm f/2, which costs $950, and the 35mm f/2, which are two lenses that I use regularly, but you could choose any one of the $400-$450 lenses to pair with the 90mm. There are a lot of potential combinations!

For $3,000 or less, you could have two solid camera bodies, and three or possibly four quality lenses. That’s really quite amazing! While these current deals aren’t nearly as blockbuster as the ones in June were, there’s still a lot of value available for your money. You could still assemble an very solid Fujifilm kit for a reasonable price.

There aren’t a whole lot of headline deals on Fujifilm currently, but if you’ve been eyeing the X-E3, it’s nicely discounted and right now stands as the best bargain among Fujifilm X cameras. GFX still has the discounted bodies, and if you’ve wanted to get into medium-format, $4,000 will get you a camera, which was unfathomable just last year.

I’m asked fairly regularly for suggestions on what gear to buy. One common question is what’s the best camera for a beginner to get into the Fujifilm system. My top recommended camera has been for awhile and still is the Fujifilm X-T20, because right now there’s not a better bang for your buck. It’s a camera you can grow with and keep for awhile, yet not overwhelming for beginners. The X-E3 would be a close second place. If you plan on shooting a lot of video, perhaps consider the X-T30 instead. If the X-T20 is too expensive for your budget, the X-T100 is a good inexpensive alternative. If money is no object, you can get into medium-format for only $5,000, which was unfathomable until very recently.

I’ve searched Amazon, and the X-T20 is the current best bargain for Fujifilm X cameras. It can be had for as little as $700, which is an incredible deal for what is an excellent camera! Currently the best discounts are with Fujinon lenses and the GFX system. If you’ve been thinking about purchasing a new lens, now might be a good time. If you have a bunch of spare money sitting around, you could get started with the GFX system for only five grand, which is an incredibly low price for digital medium format photography.

Fujifilm X-T2 Vertical Power Grip Bundle Deal

img_9710

I pointed out last week that Fujifilm has some great deals when you bundle one of three f/2 prime lenses with the upcoming Fujifilm X-T30. There is a great deal being offered on the Fujifilm X-T2 that’s worth pointing out.

You can already get the X-T2 for an incredible price ($1,100 for the body or $1,500 with an 18-55mm lens), but if you bundle the X-T2 body with a vertical power grip, it’s only $1,100, and if you bundle the X-T2 with an 18-55mm lens with a vertical power grip, it’s only $1,500, which is about a $300 savings on top of what’s already a great deal. In other words, if you bundle the X-T2, body only or with the the 18-55mm lens, with the vertical power grip, you get the power grip for free! That’s incredible!

The Fujifilm X-H1 (body only) with a vertical power grip is also a great deal right now, coming in at just $1,300.

If you’ve been thinking about buying one of these items, now is a good time because of the great discounts being offered. If you use the links below, you’ll be supporting this site. Nobody pays me to write the articles you find here, so using my affiliate links is one way that you can support what’s happening at Fuji X Weekly.

As far as Fujifilm cameras go, the Fujifilm X-T2 is still $500 off and the Fujifilm X-H1 with grip is an incredible deal at just $1,300! There are some other promotions currently being offered, but these two are the good ones that you should be aware of.

For Fujinon lenses, the Fujinon XF 200mm f/2 is $1,000 off, Fujinon XF 8-16mm f/2.8 is $500 offFujinon XF 50-140mm f/2.8 is $400 off, Fujinon XF 56mm f/1.2 APD is $350 offFujinon XF 80mm f/2.8 is $300 off, and Fujinon XF 16-55mm f/2.8 is $300 off. Current Fujifilm X Camera Deals

There are a number of great Fujifilm camera deals currently on Amazon. I wanted to pass these along in case anyone is interested in these cameras. As always, if you use my links to purchase something it helps to support this website.

Fujifilm X-H1 with grip is only $1,300!

Fujifilm X-E3 is $700.

Fujifilm X-T3 is $1,400.

Fujifilm X-T2 is $1,100.

Fujifilm X-T20 with 18-55mm lens is $1,000.

All of these are good deals, but the X-H1 and X-T2 stand out as the two best bargains, and I think it’s because of how well the X-T3 has been selling. The X-T20 is my top recommended camera, and it’s a good price with the 18-55mm lens. The X-E3 is pretty inexpensive, and it’s a very tempting option.
