With Christmas just 10 days away, you might be looking for some last-minute camera deals as a gift to yourself or a photographer (or budding photographer) in your family. This website is all about Fujifilm, and for the most part there haven’t been a lot of Fujifilm deals. There hasn’t been a lot for me to recommend to you. You can always pay full price for gear, but you don’t need me to point that out—the service that I’d rather offer is showing where you can save some money. So let’s get into that.

It’s a really good time to get into GFX if you’ve been thinking about it, as that’s where the best discounts are. The 50mm f/1 lens is $300 off, and that’s the most intriguing bargain to me, personally. The 90mm f/2 is one of my favorite lenses; while the discount is only $100, it is on sale, and it’s an easy one for me to recommend. If you’ve thought about doing some serious cinematography with Fujifilm, the X-H2s bundled with the cinema lenses are significantly discounted. Otherwise, the deals are pretty pedestrian right now.

I guess it’s “Prime Day” at Amazon, and they have some deals on Fujifilm and Fujifilm related gear that I thought worth pointing out, just in case you needed an excuse to spend money. I don’t know how long these deals will last—they might be over quick. So let’s get right to it!

I’m asked fairly regularly for suggestions on what gear to buy. One common question is what’s the best camera for a beginner to get into the Fujifilm system. My top recommended camera has been for awhile and still is the Fujifilm X-T20, because right now there’s not a better bang for your buck. It’s a camera you can grow with and keep for awhile, yet not overwhelming for beginners. The X-E3 would be a close second place. If you plan on shooting a lot of video, perhaps consider the X-T30 instead. If the X-T20 is too expensive for your budget, the X-T100 is a good inexpensive alternative. If money is no object, you can get into medium-format for only $5,000, which was unfathomable until very recently.

There are a number of great Fujifilm camera deals currently on Amazon. I wanted to pass these along in case anyone is interested in these cameras. As always, if you use my links to purchase something it helps to support this website.

Fujifilm X-H1 with grip is only $1,300!

Fujifilm X-E3 is $700.

Fujifilm X-T3 is $1,400.

Fujifilm X-T2 is $1,100.

Fujifilm X-T20 with 18-55mm lens is $1,000.

All of these are good deals, but the X-H1 and X-T2 stand out as the two best bargains, and I think it’s because of how well the X-T3 has been selling. The X-T20 is my top recommended camera, and it’s a good price with the 18-55mm lens. The X-E3 is pretty inexpensive, and it’s a very tempting option.

I wanted to pass along some great deals on the Fujifilm X-T2 that are currently going on at Amazon. While the X-T20 is my top recommended Fujifilm camera, right now the X-T2 is probably the best value because it’s a really high quality camera that has been steeply discounted (thanks to the X-T3). If you’ve thought about getting this camera, now is the time, as I understand that these prices will change on January 1st.
