Do any of you ever visit Ken Rockwell’s website? If you don’t know who that is, he’s very popular, I think mainly because he was one of the very first photography bloggers and he has strong opinions. I visit his page every now and then. Anyway, he likes to say that Fujifilm cameras are great for people pictures, but not good for other types of photography because Fujifilm cameras don’t produce vivid colors. I think if he tried my X-T30 Velvia recipe, he might change his mind on that. Fujifilm cameras are very much capable of delivering vivid color photographs right out of camera. Anyway, I hope that you enjoy this set of color images.

True… I’ve been shooting Fuji since the X100S, got an X-T2 with the 16 1.4, 35 2 and the 50 2. Sold my Nikon D90 ( which I loved) but never looked back. Colors for days…… love your site!
Thanks so much!
Who does NOT read Ken’s info. I think he is hilarious. And the funny (no pun intended) thing is that he actually has some very good information on his site. But sometimes he is just “wrong”: I love the colors you created with your Fuji presets!
Thank you! Ken is a mix of quality content, comedy and downright nonsense. I would love to go on one of his Yosemite workshops, if for nothing else than to meet him and see some photogenic parts of the park that I’ve missed. I probably never will, though. I appreciate your comment!
I remember Ken Rockwell got me through my Nikon phase! I was never great at getting my head round the manuals, and he made it all clear. I always understood Fuji was famous for its colour rendition, works for me!
Also, cool shots!
I’ve heard that he’s a good teacher.
