I’m a iPhone user. If I decided to develop an app, I’d do it FIRST on the platform I am most familiar with. Then the next. It’s not a sell out. It’s prioritisation. And from taking to app developers and from what I have read online about app platforms, the fastest return on investment is to develop for iOS and then for Android. You’re making a tribal statement where Ritchie is making a strategic decision.
I’m just back to shooting with Fujifil again after some years, and have been reading your pages on film simulation. Glad to know that an app is coming while I have been searching for such thing in app store but nothing show up. Then I am thinking about writing an app. Unfortunately I am no iPhone fans… hope android version comes soon.
Oh please…
I didn’t expect FujiXWeekly to sellout for Apple.

It is an app! I do hope to bring it to Android sooner than later. Everything takes time and (especially) money.

I appreciate this message! Yes, iPhone first, it’s just the way it worked out, and Android next, I’m really hoping not too far down the road.

It’s an app…no doubt. One that will be available to iOS with the common coming to Android soon statement at the end.

That’s funny! Yes, I do have a very, very limited edition 4-year-old Fuji X Weekly iPhone 7 Plus if anyone is interested… 😀
