What’s in the May issue? The cover story is Goodbye, Utah, which is an ode to Utah, since I am moving from that state. This issue concludes with an article about double-exposure scenes-in-jars photography. There are a total of 19 photographs this month, including the cover image (above). I hope that you find it enlightening, entertaining, and inspiring!

Looks like I’m going to have to subscribe 🙂 Forgive me if this is a topic you’ve already covered, but as I get to know more and more film simulations (X-trans III in my case) I’m discovering some extra hard working simulations, like the Kodachrome II simulation where I can switch from Classic Chrome to Velvia, and it becomes Kodak Ektachrome 100SW. I love both of these! I have also discovered that by shifting the white balance on Fujicolor Superia 800 to Auto +5R, –3B I have very similar settings to your Aged Color simulation… again, both of which I am enjoying. I’m guessing there are some other discoveries that I haven’t made yet. It would be very interesting to know of other tricks you or others may have discovered? All the best on your move to Arizona!

It’s always fun when you “accidentally” discover a small change produces something wonderful. The Vintage Vibes recipe is a great example of this. I’ll have to try that shift on the Superia 800 recipe—thanks for the tip! I appreciate your comment!
