I need your help!
I want to know what camera sensor generation is inside your Fujifilm camera. Why? Because I want to be more helpful to you, the Fuji X Weekly audience, when creating new film simulation recipes. I don’t currently have every sensor generation—right now, it’s GFX and Bayer that I don’t own (you never know when that changes), but, since I was gifted an X-H1, I now have every X-Trans option at my disposal. In the coming year I want to focus more on what is beneficial to you, and in order to do so I need to know what you own.
If you have a spare moment right now, help me out by taking the short survey below:
Thank you!
Let me know in the comments what your favorite Fujifilm model is that you own, and what Fujifilm model is the one you’d love to own someday but currently don’t. For me, the favorite model that I own is the X100V, and the one I’d love to own someday is the X-Pro3.

My personal favorite model is the X100V ( I own a X-T3 as well).
I don’t need any other model but if i had to pick a new one, it would be the X-S10 (for IBIS) or a older body with X-TRANS II or X-TRANS III.

My favorite is the X100T with X-Trans II. I love how the sensor renders colours. That’s actually all I need. I’m a modest guy 😇

Hi Richie!!!
First of all thank you for your great work. And also for your new decision to know what kind of sensor we use.
I have started this summer in this wonderful world of digital photography. I bought an X-E3 (X-trans III). My favourite cameras are two X-pro 3 and X100V.

A quick answer – and an embarrassing confession.
I have 2 Fujifilm cameras: an X-Pro3 (with an X-Trans IV sensor) – and an X30 (with an X-Trans II sensor).
So I answered the Poll twice (using two different browser windows) – one for my XPro3, the other for my X30. But I didn’t read the fine print as I was clicking for the 2nd time, and failed to note that there were two separate X-Trans II possibilities: one without Classic Chrome, another with Classic Chrome. My X30 does have Classic Chrome, but I accidentally clicked on the 1st choice (without CC). After realizing my mistake, I then opened a 3rd browser window, and clicked the correct choice (for an X-Trans II sensor with CC). So…. I voted 3 times! and only 2 of them were correct 😉
In the overall scheme of things I doubt that my error will make much of a statistical difference, but I wanted to confess in the interests of Fujifilm transparency!

Hi:) I currently own XT1 and X100T, and I don’t see myself buying a new camera anytime soon. My heart would love an X100V because of its sensor, recipes available, Classic Negative etc. and weathersealing, but my brain is not allowing me to spend so much money for a camera;)

Pretty much where it all started.
I usually adapt most of the later recipes to great effect but would like to see some more tailored made to the first generation sensor.
Loving all your hard work Ritchie

Hi Richie, currently I have the X-T20, my first and so far only Fujifilm camera. At some point I would like to have a combination on GFX 100 and X-T30 ii. But that would also mean switching completely to Fujifilm. Currently I still have a Nikon Z6 ii.

I have both X-T3 and X-T4. Used to own the X-H1 before the X-T4. All are awesome cameras. I am contemplating a X-Pro3 and wondering if there are any significant differences with the X-T4 and if the investment is worthwhile. Savings from getting the X-Pro3 could probably be invested on the XF 70-300mm telephoto lens and 50mm f1.0 perhaps. Any inputs from out there?

It’s head vs. heart. From a practical standpoint, I would recommend the X-T4: IBIS, more JPEG features, faster autofocus. The X-Pro3 is a camera for the heart, though. The rangefinder style, tank-like build, reverse screen, hybrid viewfinder, etc., are why you’ll fall in love with it or be disappointed. I hope this somehow helps.

Hi Ritchie, thank you for sharing a whole lot of stuff, I love what you do here, I wish I could help in a way or another!!!
I’m lucky enough to have a brother giving me his X100V because he bought another camera. I do love it, but certainly can’t claim it to be my favorite Fujifilm camera, because it’s my only Fuji camera. But yeah, I do want the X-Pro3, and I found myself lately forcing not to look at the result after each shot.
Wish you health and wealth, and a Merry Christmas Ritchie!

I have a Fujifilm X100S (and a Fujifilm DL Super MiNi but that is a story in film) I love it and really my purchases are more to complement it with Fujifilm accessories as the teleconverter rather than getting another camera. Although now that film is getting more expensive I am tempted to save for a Fujifilm plus an adapter for the Canon EF lenses of my Canon EOS 7 film camera. Canon has very nice colors too, but I am afraid the type of body is more geared toward professionals and my use is rather the pleasure to take my time and hold a camera that looks like the archetype of cameras in my mind. Thank you, Ritchie. Even when the recipes are not intended for my X100S I love to try them as the results can be quite interesting.

Hi, Ritchie, Congrats on being gifted an X-H1. I’ve owned mine since Fuji did that crazy stupid deal a couple of years ago with the body, battery grip and XF16-55mm f2.8 for $1,799. I swear I still feel like I stole it. I also own an X-Pro3, which was an upgrade from my X-Pro2. The 2 cameras (X-H1 and X-Pro3) couldn’t be more different in terms of feel and function, but they excel in how I use them. The X-H1 is my landscape camera (w/ XF10-24, XF16-55, and XF50-140) and what I throw in the backpack for hikes (w/ XF16-80), and the X-Pro3 is the camera that goes practically everywhere else with me (w/ XF35 f1.4).

I have the X-T3. I’ve just purchased it and am trying to learn it. I wish there were as many film templates as the newer models have. I think there is 2 fewer… Nevertheless, I think it offers enough functions, manipulative controls to create valuable recipes. I might write to Fuji and express a desire for the added simulations via firmware update. cheers.
